Skills Training Application
The Countryside Agri-Rural Partnership is now inviting applications for the first round of the Skills Training element of the Farm Family Options Programme.
The Application Pack Contains an Application Form, an Extra Section 3 Form (if more than one course is being applied for), and Notes for Guidance. Please take a few minutes to read the Notes for Guidance before completing the Application Form.
Please Note:
- The Application must be submitted by the Business ID Holder (either for their own training, or on behalf of a family member).
- A grant of up to £1,000 is available per family member, with up to £250 training allowance.
- Only the Business ID Holder, their wife/ partner, or the Business ID Holder's children (aged 17 years at date of application, or over) are eligible for the grant.
- The following courses are not eligible:
- courses or training above NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- courses which do not lead to a recognised qualification
- courses provided by CAFRE
- Grant rates are as follows:
- 40% of training fees for all driving courses/ training
- 70% of training fees for all other courses/ training
- A farm family member will only be supported in attending one driving course driving the life of the programme.
Please note that Tranche 2 of the Farm Family Options programme will close for Skills Training funding at 3pm on Friday 28th May 2010 (all training should be completed by 30th June 2011). A further Tranche of the programme will follow after a review of Tranche 2.
